The Area

Kiln Nook is a comfortable, modern apartment, in the, quiet, South Devon village of Stokenham, with its own parking and garden area. It is adjacent to Kiln House where the owners live, and we are available if needed.

Stokenham nestles in gentle rolling countryside in the heart of Devon's "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The South West Coast Path is easily accessible at the nearby village of Torcross (a popular spot with the local fishermen). For walkers there is a good bus service a few minutes’ walk from the apartment to both Dartmouth and Salcombe

Available weekly, year-round, or for shorter breaks out of season and situated within easy reach of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe, Kiln Nook is ideally located for exploring the South Hams.

The Accommdation

"A cosy retreat"

Easily accessed, this cosy retreat is perfectly suited to couples.

Fully Equipped

A beautiful open plan studio, furnished and fitted to a high standard for self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, grill, hob, fridge and microwave. There is an open plan dining and lounge area. All bed linen, towels, tea towels etc. are provided.

Comfortable Living

The lounge area has a comfortable sofa facing French doors that open out onto your own decked area. There is a double bed, a spacious 'wet room' with power shower, under-floor heating and heated towel rail.

TV and DVD

There is a CD player, TV and DVD player available with a selection of DVDs. There is also a small collection of books to get lost in.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available. Stream to your heart’s content!

View of the Bay

The south facing decked area and lawn has views out over the fields towards Start Bay. Sun loungers and a bistro table and chairs are available.

Easy Parking

There is plenty of secure off-road parking in front of the property.

From your initial arrival, you are greeted to home made scones, clotted cream, homemade jam, butter, bread and milk. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, airy and bright. Once again everything has been given consideration even down to a torch and hairdryer just in case you've forgotten yours. The location is perfect, with amazing views and two local pubs in a short walking distance. I can not praise this place enough and both my husband and I can't wait to return. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Please use the contact information below for booking enquiries. 33% deposit payable to confirm reservation, balance payable three weeks prior to your arrival date. Available Saturday to Saturday during the season. There is more flexibility out of season, subject to availability, and it may be possible to offer accommodation at short notice.

High season £90 a night, low season £80, minimum of 2 nights booking all year round. Week long bookings only available in July and August.
